During his visit to the Hama Chamber of Commerce, the President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Mr. Alaa Omar Al-Ali, was briefed on the most prominent challenges facing traders and industrialists. He discussed with its board of directors ways to improve performance and enhance communication with economic stakeholders, stressing that chambers exist to solve the problems of the business sector and defend its interests, and emphasizing the importance of the electronic linking that is being worked on to facilitate the exchange of information.
Al-Ali also pointed out the need to represent the commercial sector in government committees and foreign exhibitions, announcing the creation of a specialized department in the Federation to follow up on the affairs of chambers and provide technical and administrative support. He noted that the proposed amendments to Law No. 8 aim to improve the business work environment, in order to achieve greater flexibility and fairness for traders.
